ZHANG XION SONG

18 Years Old - Female - Panda Shape-Shifter/Feral - Pansexual

Her first taxi cab ride in the Americas was one to never forget. She was scared, but made it safely. As she got out of the cab, she wandered close to the dorms. She found her room and unpacked her things. One item she left out, her bikini. She threw it on and quickly grabbed a towel. She would be finding this pool she heard so much about. Students around the campus were speaking so highly of it. As she wandered from the dormitory, she held the towel tight in her hands. She looked around as she found a school map. The map was huge, a lot bigger than she had expected. But she easily found her way to the pool. She shifted into her panda form and carried her towel over her back. She did not see many humans, and this frightened her. In China, many Shifters were normally in human form. It was strange to see so many animal-beings, but she did not judge. This college was all about their types though. The large black and white bear moved to her path. When she made it inside the pool area, she saw another form in the pool as well. She laid out her towel on a chair and looked to the water. A smile widened across her maw and her paws forced her to run. Jumping from the ledge of the pool, she met the water with a loud splash as her body rolled into a ball. The canon ball was perfect and loud. The splash forced the water to rock in the pool, hitting the walls hard. As she surfaced from the water, she looked around and saw the female. "Sorry about that! I just love water. We don't have a lot of pools where I am from."

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

DarkWolfProwler's Tables - Characters Empty Re: DarkWolfProwler's Tables - Characters

Post by Bryce Sanders Mon Aug 31, 2015 3:58 pm

It was not long before the drink orders were written down and Bryce looked up to see not one, but three beautiful women before him. One was a tiger, one was a panda, and the last was a giraffe. Such an interesting group to see together, but Bryce was not one to judge. "Don't we look lovely tonight ladies?" He asked with a toothy grin. He had always flashed his perfectly white smile to the ladies he felt really needed to see it. He puffed out his chest and made sure to flex his muscles as much as possible. Anything he could do to pull the attention of females, he would do it in a heartbeat. All girls liked muscles, unless they were lame and liked nerds instead. As he was making his way back to the kitchen, he came around the corner and almost ran into another server. He growled lowly to himself as she glared at him, like it was his damn fault. "You should be.." he replied back with a sneer. He had been working this place for so long, he felt like he had been royalty. The cooks did as he asked without much hassle, and the managers always gave him the time off he requested. The fact that this newbie was here and getting in his way, had to stop. He got the drinks for his young ladies, laid on the charm and high-tailed it back to the kitchen to find out the name of this clumsy bitch. On his way to the kitchen, he looked around the restaurant and finally opened the double doors. "So you think you run this place, huh?" he asked as he stared at her.

Actions. Thoughts. "Speech."

♦ ### ♣ @tag ♥ brief notes here ♠
A castle (from Latin: castellum) is a type of fortified structure built in Europe and the Middle East during the Middle Ages by nobility. Scholars debate the scope of the word castle, but usually consider it to be the private fortified residence of a lord or noble. This is distinct from a palace, which is not fortified; from a fortress, which was not always a residence for nobility; and from a fortified settlement, which was a public defence – though there are many similarities among these types of construction. Usage of the term has varied over time and has been applied to structures as diverse as hill forts and country houses. Over the approximately 900 years that castles were built, they took on a great many forms with many different features, although some, such as curtain walls and arrowslits, were commonplace.

A European innovation, castles originated in the 9th and 10th centuries, after the fall of the Carolingian Empire resulted in its territory being divided among individual lords and princes. These nobles built castles to control the area immediately surrounding them, and were both offensive and defensive structures; they provided a base from which raids could be launched as well as protection from enemies. Although their military origins are often emphasised in castle studies, the structures also served as centres of administration and symbols of power. Urban castles were used to control the local populace and important travel routes, and rural castles were often situated near features that were integral to life in the community, such as mills and fertile land.

Many castles were originally built from earth and timber, but had their defences replaced later by stone. Early castles often exploited natural defences, and lacked features such as towers and arrowslits and relied on a central keep. In the late 12th and early 13th centuries, a scientific approach to castle defence emerged. This led to the proliferation of towers, with an emphasis on flanking fire. Many new castles were polygonal or relied on concentric defence – several stages of defence within each other that could all function at the same time to maximise the castle's firepower. These changes in defence have been attributed to a mixture of castle technology from the Crusades, such as concentric fortification, and inspiration from earlier defences such as Roman forts. Not all the elements of castle architecture were military in nature, and devices such as moats evolved from their original purpose of defence into symbols of power. Some grand castles had long winding approaches intended to impress and dominate their landscape.
