Why Would You Be A Good Fit?: I think I would be a good fit for English teacher because I tend to be relaxed but strict when it comes to work. I like to show my students that isn't just about shoving a book in their face, English is a lot like art. It is very beautiful in many ways. I think that with an English teacher on board, the students will take the time to learn better and despite trying to make it fun I show them that it isn't hard to learn. I always had boring English teachers when I was growing up, and I hardly learned a thing. I pushed myself to be a little on the fun side, and I have some proof of improvement in some of my old classes.
Sample Of Work:
Fall Term
We shall go into depths of Edgar Allen Poe. Seeing as he is one of my favorite authors, I will be asking for at least 3 essays and one group project over the course of at least two Edgar Allen Poe books. We will learn about poetry and why it is so important to the world. I willl have them write me several short papers on poetry, teaching them where to stop and so on.

Winter Term
We will be reviewing Dean Koontz. He isn't a normal writer that most English teachers like to exploit which is why I go this route. He writes about common problems with mysteries. I will be asking for at least two group projects, just to see how they do, and 2 essays. I will also give out pop quizzes on the names of characters.

Spring Term
Stephen King. The name says it all. We will learn about his history with fear and why he writes such stories. We will also interject his uses of pronouns, adverbs and adjectives along with all the other English things we can rip out of him.

Summer Term
Summer term we will learn about Shakespear. I'm thinking about teaming up with the Drama Teacher and seeing if he will help my students understand the depth of shakespear in the way only a drama teacher could. I think this would be a good review for all the students on many of the lessons I will be teaching and many more to come.

Oh I know about them not following the classes. I just wasn't sure what exactly to put for them. So i just put classes for each semester. Each one will follow a basic learning.
